OUR WORK
From interior build-outs to ground-up steel construction. Every one run the same way: principal on site, on schedule, done correctly.

Steel District Buildout
Sioux Falls, SD

Learn More
The Steel District turned the former Sioux Steel property into one of downtown Sioux Falls’ signature mixed-use developments: a nine-story office tower alongside a Canopy by Hilton, apartments, restaurants, a conference center, and an 800-stall ramp, all of it next to Falls Park.
Structural construction handed over bare concrete. BCG built out the eighth and ninth floors into finished modern office space: electrical, flooring, finishes, and conference room hardware.
Two floors at the top of the building, delivered on schedule and on budget.
Glacial Freeze Dry Redesign
Wales, WI

Learn More
Growth had outrun the building. Glacial Freeze Dry needed more industrial freeze dryers than the facility could hold, and the flow through it no longer worked.
BCG led the redesign: new concrete, industrial cooling and AC, expanded electrical capacity, updated tray washing, new interior coverings, and a new parking lot, with production flow rebuilt so small test batches and full commercial runs move through the same building.
The results, announced at SUPERZOO: freeze-drying capacity up sevenfold, freezer space tripled, and an expanded processing room. All of it inside the footprint they already had.
C & B Equipment
Culbertson, MT

Learn More
C & B Equipment needed an automated parts picking system to keep pace with its parts and aftermarket business.
BCG remodeled the interior space to accept the system and installed the Modula© Vertical Lift module in coordination with the Burwell Material Handling Engineered Solutions group.
The install freed up a large footprint at the Culbertson facility and substantially increased picking and storage efficiency for the C & B team.
Private Executive Hangar
Sioux Falls, SD

Learn More
An executive hangar is two buildings pretending to be one. Half of it holds aircraft, fuel, and tooling. The other half hosts the people who just stepped off one.
BCG built out both halves. New concrete on the hangar floor, poured and sealed to take aircraft loads and clean up after them. Upgraded electrical for lighting, equipment, and ground power. A full remodel of the lounge and conference room, finished to the standard the aircraft parked outside implies.
BCG also handled the full foam fire suppression system. In a hangar, that is the system everything else gets planned around. It has to be engineered, installed, and commissioned to spec, not added after the fact.
The hangar stayed in use while the work went on, so the schedule was built around flight operations rather than the other way around.
Hotel Renovation — The Ingleside Hotel
Pewaukee, WI

Learn More
The Ingleside Hotel runs 194 rooms and suites, more than 40,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, and an attached indoor water park. None of it could go dark for construction.
BCG worked the renovation in phases around the hotel’s booking calendar. Crews staged materials off guest corridors, took areas down in sequence, and turned each one back over finished before opening the next. Event space stayed bookable. The water park stayed open.
Guests checked in every night of the project.
Hotel Renovation — The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club
Madison, WI

Learn More
A 356-room hotel on the Capitol Square does not get to close for construction. Every room out of service is a room nobody sells that night.
BCG took four pieces of the building. Guest rooms and corridors, stripped back to studs and rebuilt floor by floor. The lobby, reworked around the staircase that anchors it. The restaurant, taken out to the shell and returned as a different room. The ballroom, refinished from the ceiling down.
The hotel never closed. Floors came out of inventory a block at a time and went back the same way, finished, so the front desk kept selling and the event calendar kept booking.
Echo Mountain Lodge Renovation
Clear Creek County, CO

Learn More
A ski area’s calendar does not negotiate. Opening day is set by weather and pass holders, not by a construction schedule, and at 10,050 feet the working window closes early.
Echo Mountain is the closest ski area to the Denver metro: 226 acres, 13 runs, and night skiing under lights. The mountain was being rebuilt from the ground up, and it needed a lodge that matched the operation going in around it.
BCG delivered a complete renovation of the lodge and kitchen, the building where every guest starts and ends the day. The work ran through the off-season at altitude, materials hauled up a mountain road, with a hard deadline at the end of it.
The lodge opened with the season.
Plant Relocation & Build-Out
Renner, SD

Learn More
A facility move is only worth the disruption if the building you land in is better than the one you left.
The client was consolidating its operation into an upgraded facility in Renner, with office, assembly, testing, and shipping under one roof and laid out for how the business runs today rather than how it grew. The building needed work before any of that could happen.
BCG took it from bare shell to running plant. Cleanup, electrical, plumbing, office space, assembly areas, and a new top-of-the-line test facility for finished equipment. Then the move itself: office through production, including the full set of production equipment, sequenced so the operation came back up in the right order.
Same operation, better building, and a test facility they didn’t have before.
